Welcome to the Lumberton Police Department Web Site.  Lumberton, Texas is located  approximately five miles North of Beaumont, Texas. Both Highway 69 and Highway 96 run  North and South through Lumberton, and carry about 40,000 vehicles through the city each day.

The Lumberton Police Department (LPD) is staffed by thirteen sworn Police Officers and three civilian personnel, and provides protection to approximately ten square miles, and ten thousand people.
