Patron membership 

Applicants must have a Texas ID (driver’s license or photo ID).  If under 18 years of age the applicant must have a parent or legal guardian cosign the application form.     

No items may be checked out until the applicant receives a post card (with no forwarding instructions) from the library and phone call which confirms their address and phone number.  The patron must bring the post card to the library and pick up their patron card, which he/she will sign and be entered into the computer as a patron.  (This is to insure that the address and phone number listed by the applicant is correct.)  The only exception to this procedure is by the director’s approval with a known applicant. 

Patron cards are free; however, replacement cards are $3.00 each. 

Reserving a book 

Patrons may hold a book through the online catalog by finding the wanted item and scrolling down to the bottom of the page to place hold.  Enter your patron number and last name as the password.
